Couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to vote - realized I wasn't logged in. :(

Lol - last message I received was 04-03-2013, first was 11-03-2007 - just for some fun facts.

Anyway - voted for conversation style.

Well I figured since no one else started a thread I may as well.

Unfortunately I didn't see anything but the tail end of the live stream for the demo - but I did catch the trailer after the fact for anyone who wants to see it or hasn't seen it here you go:

I for one am pretty stoked about this game - there are a lot of unconventional Zelda like things happening though and it's going to be a pretty huge change - but it seems done so well that I can probably handle it without my mind exploding.

I blame Kirby.

He brought Metalu into SMF and actually me as well for a short time (Did QA/Writing) before I started focusing my free time on IRC stuff.

it's pretty cool seeing MM at 60FPS.  I didn't get a chance to check out the other "heck".

Everything said - that is a lovely avatar picture there.  Who is that handsome man? He wears a nice oversized suit.

Honestly the graphics on the 3DS are pretty meh no matter how you look at it.

But I am still excited.  LTTP is hands down one of my favorite games.  Any game conceptually based on it will peak my interest.

The puzzles in this game look pretty awesome too.  I can't wait to see more.

Graphics Requests/Archive / Re: .TakaM's Link-sheet
« on: January 02, 2013, 03:31:36 am »
I come with updates.

Taka replied to my email. He also checked out the the thread earlier today.  He's currently traveling and will be back home in about two weeks.  He isn't able to access the sheet you need.

But sounds like you might get it in a few weeks?

I hope that helps! I tried archive.org to see if I could find something and I came up with nothing.  Looks like imageshack eats uploads eventually.

I sent Taka an email...  If you have some time log on to #zfgc on IRC and see the topic, it has the URL to the old website on invisionfree.  You might have some luck digging through that to find what you're looking for.

I would agree with that notion.

Currently the managers have it set to where users cannot disable this feature.  I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but turning it off will have to be up to them.

This problem has been resolved.  Sorry about the down time.

A Link to the Past. I know it is clichéd

I was going to say exactly the same thing.  Right down to calling it cliché.

I've never been keen on purging, except for when spammers attack/flood something, then obviously clean up the mess.

Purging leaves holes in conversations and erases growth based on not just normal growth but growth due to a specific historical event (like the release of something) or the day we felt the 'digg effect' for example.

Removal of users should only be done when spamming occurs, imo.

I feel stupid, I never noticed this topic either. It might be past the time when I was paying attention... I hope so at least.

I have to say this is coming along pretty nicely though.

Like I said in the other topic, I'm not very artistic, so I can't comment too much.

I agree with Master Yoshi though in regards to Skeme KOS - the one in your avatar does look much better.

Graphics / Re: OOT2D Map Project - Complete!
« on: April 21, 2012, 06:24:02 pm »
Amazing stuff man. I'd enjoy seeing the full-sized version too.  Is there something we can do here to adjust it to make it downloadable? I'm sure there probably is.. I doubt any of us are on dial-up anymore.. it shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Seriously though, great work and when I sprite (even though it is horrible) I do it all in mspaint too, it really is what works best for me.

The other day I found a drawing or a tracing of Link from Wind Waker, I ended up cleaning up the entire thing in paint and then drawing it in.  I realized how absurd it was when it took me like two days to finish it and I did most of it pixel by pixel.  *nerdy*  - Then I got bored and ran it through magicvector.com. XD

(I have no Art skills)

Mmm this puts context to the photos I saw earlier I guess.

Exciting, another game I can buy for m 3DS at least.

I must say it's been pretty lively late too... we'll look into what we can do about getting a stats bot in there for monthly statistics, those are always fun!

Feedback / Re: Zelda map collaboration :p.
« on: April 16, 2012, 12:22:08 am »
If you wanted to make it into a contest, you could have a group of teams.. with boards that they could do their designs in.  Ultimately hold a contest to vote on which of the maps were better.

Or it could just be an event/game of sorts that everyone collaborated on.

Really neat idea though.
