Every character appearing in a SSB game has been in a game on a Nintendo console, so Halo characters would be impossible (and GTA? I don't know). And I think the new Fox looks cool. Running like a madman across the stage with those kickass boots would be really cool.

And I don't think SSBB will yield many more characters than SSBM did. They removed a lot of ones from SSBM and replaced them with the new characters in that video. Just a thought tho.

i hope they don't take away any characters from super smash bros. melee...just change their moveset.

There will be new and old characters in Brawl, but some of the characters such as Ice Climbers, Young Link, or Dr. Mario won't return to Brawl.

It's been confirmed. There will be over 40 characters. The director even said there won't be some Melee fighters coming to Brawl. The ones I listed are just a few of them.

No Young Link?!?! Apart from Princess Zelda, he's one of my best characters in Melee (Zelda pwns anybody else, however xD).

man im really wanting to see sonic in here...anyone remember the rumor for melee, that if you beat one of the missions or something you can unlock sonic and tales??? me and my friend played for hours and could never do it

i think the rumor was that you had to beat like 100 people on the like, HARDEST mode in the game. the "Cruel Melee" mode i think

umm...source?  I knew that not everyone would be returning, but I don't recall them announcing who was cut.

That WW Link moveset actually would work pretty good. Now I'm gonna be dissapointed when he's not in the game.
