No. There have been to many modifications to the forum to feasibly do that, without recreating it from scratch. And I would prefer to leave what limited development goes on to staff members.

What I don't get is why it's so impossible for you guys to just keep the source code the same, but have the themes be mere palette/graphics switches?

I mean, it makes no sense, at all.

To me it sounds like you'd have to change the engine of your car just because you recoloured it.
There's probably a reason, I'm just curious :p

Because a theme also changes tires, rims, and some other vital parts.

After they make 1 theme they can use it as a template for the others and simply change some images but after modding one theme they have to mod them all.

I'm 12% sure that EZD knows that already. It'd be higher if I didn't know EZD as well as I do (<3 you EZD? ;D)

In any case, who cares, leave it. I would much rather see NEW themes coming, rather than the dev staff worrying about old ones.

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

Agreed, MiN has no importance at all.

But I am entitled to give my opinion that it's pointless to focus on the old themes.

No, regulus isnt important.
The best Idea would be a theme creator that people could download and send their themes to the staff.

I don't see why the site needs more than one theme.

I don't see why the site needs more than one theme.

Some people prefer one over the other.
Some people like darker, some people like lighter, etc.

The best Idea would be a theme creator that people could download and send their themes to the staff.
You mean people who don't have any idea what has to be implemented into the themes to be compatible with modifications to the forum source and could possibly throw a minor, yet unnoticed security hole in due to either bad programming habits or malicious intent.

It's too much of a security risk and a pain in the ass to put together.

No. Submitting it would mean having it be put in line to be chacked by a ModMin.
