hehe, that's pretty cool - it's a nice style :) I likes it!

Can't really give much C+C cos I've never really looked at PS  :-\

That's pretty good for a first! The style is original and humorous at the same time. For your next piece, when you're outlining, just use a softer brush. Photoshop has a normal, round brush that would work nicely and keep the black lines and edges of colors a lot less jagged. You may have it set on pencil right now, so just right click the pencil button and switch it to "brush." The shading is pretty consistant except for in the hair and remember; eyes always have space for another eye inbetween them. ;D Like I said, it's really nice for your first try in PS. I can barely stand coloring images using the program and I've been messing around with it for years. Hah hah. Good work. :D

cool for the first attempt and I like the style, photoshop can take a while to figure out but keep practicing with it. For lineart or outlines are like you did, try brushes like Sprite Collector did or vectoring... it gives nice clean lines at any resolution and use can use layers to go underneith the lines and color from there, leaving all the lines in tact. but just keep practicing! if you need any help try here: www.good-tutorials.com

Good luck with future work! and remember layers are your friend XD

no, bad idea, he'd better work with lttp sprites when he goes to work with sprites again. Those have more details.
And looking at this he should be able to handle it to do something with more details in it.
