Project: MapleStory Remake

Clientside must be experienced in DirectDraw, zlib, and Winsock (C++).
Server side must be experienced in Winsock and MySQL.
This is a MMORPG anyways... so yeah, There should be an encryption in the packets. We will discuss that later.

So far...

Server Side: 2/5
Client Side: 0/5
Total: 2/10

So yeah were going to try 10 people at start and hire more when needed.

I'm sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I must ask...Why would you want to remake MapleStory??  I mean, why not just play the actual game?  Last I heard it's free to play and has a pretty active userbase...

Again, sorry if that was a dumb question, but this confounds me..

People are always wanting other servers to play on with higher rates so I'm wanting to grant their wish.^.^

I don't care if he doesn't finish it or does, If he don't give up and doing his best. It will be possible to reach it. However, IF he gives up. You'll always learn things from it. So Zeccoz I believe you'll be able to do it, I'll wish you Good luck :)

Well if I were you, I would simply rename the name and call it a game that looks very much like MapleStory. Unlike the other posts I'll give you a chance. Hopefully you'll show some progress and not abandon us.

Alright found someone talented enough to work with the gMS client to disassemble it completely into C++! THATS RIGHT C++! So were going to work with his client a bit and make a server for the official client. Shouldn't be too hard to do.
