Hello folks,
I'm currently looking for someone to design some fancy emblems for a game I'm working on. It's a 'sci-fi' genre, and I need images for use in-game.

Think C&C GDI / NOD emblems, like that kind of thing. It would be great if I could get it done as a 3D model, but like a high quality art work would be great.

If you're interested, post here or contact me via Personal Message and I'll give you all the details.

I'm not really 'paying' for this job, as I really don't have any money, but obviously you will be put in the credits, and if there's anything I can offer you I'm sure we can negotiate something :)

Is an emblem of your game a 3D model? :o In C&C are all a emblems 2D icon with an image of a 3D building, and yeah, can you give some more details?

I don't know what you just said, but search google for 'emblem' and you'll see what I mean. I need two of those.

Ok, well here's a couple of sketches I just made, I quite like the designs... like I've said a bazillion times before I can't draw, but i think you get the idea?

I like what you have there...the concept anyway.  I'm sure someone here could whip something up pretty quick.  I would offer to help, but I'm pretty busy with two projects I'm working on right now.

Thanks :), yeah.. i'm hoping to talk to my friend who does 3d animation for disney to maybe do 3d models of them.. but not guaranteed.

I'm not quite sure what you want with the swirl in the small gold circle on the first one, other than that i'm guessing pretty much everything that isn't the darker gray would be embossed at the same level.

The second one looks a little trickier...  Hmm...  What were you thinking for that?

I'll probably wait for MG-Zero's images, so I have something a bit cleaner to work from too.

The swirl thing I kind of imagine being engraved into the gold part.. and yeah you're right about the embossing. Also, I see it being the same on both sides (front and back) so it can be rotated / spun.

For the second one I'm not entirely sure, the red parts I imagine to be seperate to the gray (the gray stuff sandwiched between the red) and the light bits embossed onto the gray.

Just a note;

mit whipped up the round one in Photoshop for me and i tweaked it a little. I then made the red one myself. Let me know what you think;
