Out of nowhere, these arrows decided to pop up and I can't figure out how to get rid of them...my code isn't indenting itself with them there either.

It's "Show Whitespace"

The keyboard shortcut to toggle the option is the chord:

Ctrl+R, Ctrl+W

(Press Ctrl+R, then Ctrl+W)

Edit: Also; Highlight code you want to be properly indented, and do "Ctrl+K, Ctrl+F", to "Format Text" :D
