Dementium: The Ward is a survival horror DS game along the same vein as Silent Hill. It reminds me a lot of Silent Hill 2, you wake up in a bloody mental institute type place. It has evil little girls, like Silent Hill, a big enemy with a big knife, In SH 2, it's pyramid head, in this its "The Cleaver". It controls pretty well, The bottom screen has your heart rate meter, menus and such. The top screen is where the action takes place. You use the touch screen to move and aim, L to fire.
Although it's a little annoying switching between the flashlight and other weapons fast when the enemy pops up. You can switch weapons by hitting the weapons on the touch screen or by pressing R. Apparently the US version has an annoying save "feature" where if you die, you have to restart at the start of whatever chapter you are in. The European version uses a checkpoint system, so you restart at the last checkpoint. It's not a horrible game.
