The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time GM

Long have I served as the guardian spirit...
I am known as the Deku Tree...

The children of the forest, the
Kokiri, live here with me.
Each Kokiri has his or her own guardian fairy.

However, there is one boy who
does not have a fairy...

Yikes, crazy with FSA filters, are we :P?
Anyway, I'm waiting for new content patiently... oh, and by the way, I suggest that you don't do the FSA filter on the grass, etc, backgrounds, because then you'll end up with lots of 128x128 background, and no filters on tiles, instead make an invisible foreground with the filter applied to it, and then in the room creation code:

And for deserts:

backgroud_xspeed[?]=1

That should save some nice space, and it'll look even better. Now, if only GameMaker support the "Multiply" blend mode :-\...

None of them are FSA filters, just the grass which is from fsa. Other graphics you've seen are just nifty photoshop things i did to get some sweet backgrounds. :D

sorry, from MM2d, an already very unoriginal and uninteresting fangame to another oot2d, Im never going to play an oot2d regardless of anyone ever actually finishing one of them, oot has pretty much been ruined for me

I know its not nice but fan games like this need to not exist, no one needs a 2d recreation of a 3d game to begin with let alone 15. from now on I'm going to give very very harsh criticism to unoriginal fan games, they're a disgrace to the little dignity fan gaming still has and I encourage everyone to follow suit so we can get some real quality projects here

You gave me that push and tripped me so now I get up and start a completely 100% Custom project

I dont see the problem with having some fun and using an already built storyline to learn how to create games. its sad you have to attack someones project just to get your point across. How about u spend your time making a topic of ur own to talk to people who care about what you have to say other than abusing someone who is trying to learn.

p.s. im not trying to offend u takaM. but this is my way of learning.

...oh, by the way, I've always wanted to ask this to a maker of OoT2D: "Why exactly are you trying to remake a great 3D game in 2D ????". Not that I'm trying to stop you, just wondering what  the attraction is?

fair enough i left for awhile. but no one knows what happened while i was gone. My computer crashed big time. I lost EVRYTHING i had ever made. and no one else had the gmd anymore not even my partner for this game scooternew. Im just trying to get abck up and running asap so i can continue.

Yea photoshop is cool. Umm im making oot2d because i generally think it is an amazing game and its what inspired me to start making games. if i could recreate it in 2d then i felt that would be an excellent start. Some people here obviously dont like it and thats their opinion im fine with that. but im going to continue because thats what i want to do. I dont ask for takaM's support, or anyone who doesnt take me seriously but im trying to learn thats all.

I had backups, on my old computer. the powerbox blew up and fried my motherboard and hard drive. i havent had good luck.

LoL if i took enough. Nah i have alot of backup plans in place which means i should be back upto where i was in a couple of weeks. gotta give my competition a scare you know.

Nop i never cancelled it, i had a great engine to! once i finsh my oot engine ill port it and conjure up so sweet graphics and run both projects in here.
