The blockbuster game is designed for Nintendo Co Ltd's (7974.OS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) DS handheld gear. It also said it is developing Dragon Quest X (Ten) for Nintendo's Wii game console. I, for one, think that it's cool that the Dragon Quest series is sticking with Nintendo. Seeing as it originated there much like Final Fantasy, and is staying there, unlike Final Fantasy, is pretty cool. And now that DQIX is dated for Japan (March 09), it means that we'll hopefully get it by this time next year, and after DQV and DQVI I'm sure. It's great timing. And, granted, they could spend time upgrading the games, but in the minds of Japanese gamers, the games are already quite well. Sure, the games aren't suited for most people this side of the Pacific (I only recently got on the DQ bandwagon after playing VIII, and I really liked it; plus one of my brothers* looks like Yangus) but for those that it is, it's a good thing. I'm happy to hear this news. tl;dr Stop trolling Swoftu, I'm happy about this, as are others. Also, DQ7 was PS1, but they were going to remake DQV for PS2, but that project died around the time of the merger. I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. Logged
