Imo we should move from zelda fan games and more into indie, I know this has already been asked months ago, but I just don't see to much of zelda in this forum, now a days this forum is all about people talking about their life or their indie related projects.
That already happened before, in the form of Gamers Advanced. It didn't work out back then. I don't think it should change.

If by sites source code you mean the HTML and Javascript people could get that anyway. If you mean the PHP then that's not really necessary. It's possible to have them design a layout and have them include place holder/garbage content.

My suggestion is not directed at the forum, but rather the main site. If you ask me, you should eliminate all that DICKBUTT stuff on the main page. While DICKBUTT is good, the usage of it on the main page feels more of an annoyance and offers nothing more than it would without it.

There's also some more internal stuff I'd like to see (table-less design), but that's not important.

Entertainment / Re: Gamestop sucks
« on: March 08, 2009, 04:52:40 am »
They actually had a Gamestop story on one of the things on 20/20 last night. Apparently a guy bought a defective PS3 and when he tried to exchange it they claimed it was stolen because the serial numbers didn't match (Gamestop's fault). It took like 2 letters for them to finally exchange it.

Personally for me, I haven't had any trouble, but I also haven't been there in a while (I mean like a year or more).

Sonic Unleashed is much better than the past few Sonic games have been (much better than Sonic '06, that's for sure). The werehog stages aren't really that bad actually, although they aren't as fun as the Sonic stages. I just wish there were more Day stages because they are so good.

Note that I am talking about the Wii/PS2 version. Yes, it is pretty much a completely different game compared to the 360/PS3 version.

Heh, thanks.

I am also planning to release a demo by the end of this month. It will include all of the things that have been updated/redone and works with the new engine, along with new things. Here is a list:
- Mobius Island Zone
- Mobius Island Zone Boss
- Star Work Zone
- 2 special stages: Island Paradise Zone and Blind Jump Zone

Stuff that I would like to add to the demo:
- new Star Work Zone boss
- 3rd special stage: Diamond Caves Zone
- Egg System Zone Act 1
- Zeg Egg Zone Act 3
- Zeg Egg Zone Boss

So, does anyone still care about the game?

So, here are a few pics on the Special Stages.

First, to get to one, you need to find the emerald monitor and break it:

Then finish the act without dying:

And you will be teleported to the special stage. In this case, Island Paradise Zone is the special stage for Mobius Island Zone:

(Notice that you don't have a life counter in special stages, although you can still earn lives if you find a life monitor. You won't lose lives however.)

Then you need to get to the end:

Break open the capsule:

And finally:

Special Stages in this game are more like mini-zones rather than the usual stages you see in Sonic games. Also if you die in the special stage, then you will have to try again later.

Lol I can't believe I started working on this again.

I finished the best Special Stage ever (background is temporary):

And fixed up the graphics for Mobius Island Zone:

I eliminated the floating platform syndrome in Mobius Island Zone.

That's New Jersey for you. Protecting you from Ninjas.

You should get the OEM version of Windows XP:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116515&Tpk=32-116-515

It's the same thing, but it only comes with the CD and key. And it's half the price as the retail version.

I'm actually glad that one was made. That's how I managed to get the source back to Sonic Ze after I lost it. I would love if the good one that worked, worked with GM4.3, so I can get the source to the very first alpha of Sonic Ze.

I'm going to say, that either the judge or bailiff is black in each of the shows. Or that the guy is always black.

"All your base are belong to us"
"Find the computer room!"
"It's over 9000!"
"599 US Dollars"

All excellent quotes!

Entertainment / Re: Graphics Card Question

They're both crap. (and overpriced).

The first question I should ask, does your computer have the older AGP slot for a graphics card, or a newer PCI-E slot for a graphics card?

Looks like mine are:

Apparently the one at Waynechester Plaza is also hosting round 2 and the one at Rockaway (Townsquare) Mall is hosting round 3.

I'm probably not going to it though.

EDIT: Here is the grand prize:
one (1) Vizio 37” LCD TV (ARV: $900.00), entire First Party Nintendo Wii Software Library (ARV: $700.00), one Nintendo Wii Console (ARV: $250.00), selected Nintendo Wii Accessories as determined by Sponsor (ARV: $150.00), $5,000 Cash (ARV: $5,000) and the Grand Prize Trophy (ARV: $500.00).  Total ARV of Grand Prize is $7,500.00.

I know what the gimmick is. Is it a stage in World 7: Pipe Land? If so, then I really know what it is, and that is a good idea! The special stage idea is great too!

Yes it is!

19
Ok, today I am going to go into the special stages. Unlike normal Sonic special stages, my special stages are short stages with one act (like thise hidden islands in Sonic Rush Adventure). Each level usually has some unique gimmick to get through the stage (For example: You may have to find keys to reach the end, you may have to finish the stage quickly, through the use of power shoe boxes.)

Hmm, so much fun, except for Blind Jump Zone. I'm going to go to Diamond Caves Zone, since that is the only one that is in the game.

Has things similar to Egg System Zone Act 1, doesn't it? Well, at least you don't have to worry about the temperature. Actually, it is more similar to an older version of Eggie Rocktopia Zone Act 1 (which became Egg System Zone).

Now what is this stages gimmick?

I think you can figure it out. (Hint: Think of some of those stages in SMB 3).

I don't plan on it, as they engine would need another complete rewrite (and new level design.)
