So I just wanted to mention that I've been coding my butt off on the core engine for this and as of last night, it's pretty damn close to being ready for community contribution.  I need to finalize some map stuff, but once that's done, I think we can open the code up to the public!

Oh, and collisions.  Collisions can go !@#$% themselves.

Oh collisions. Such happy and fond memories.

Community submissions are good, as long as the code is reviewed before committing. That's just something i'd like to note.

Yup, we're gonna require branches to made for each user contributing.  We'll review their commits before merging into the development branch.

Well don't forget that me and Steve set the repository up to use Git. And we're using GitHub, so it'll be very possible to manage multiple branches + multiple repositories. The master repository is still owned and controlled by only you and Steve.

Congrats, Steve! I send you as meaningful of a "good job!" as I can with as little about the code as I know :p

This considered, what do we need to work on most as far as designing stuff goes? What's top priority?

But without proper collision detection, won't the collisions be unable to !@#$% themselves and just go right through themselves?

The story really needs to be finished.  We've been on the Deku/Kokiri portion for a WHILE and it really needs to be pushed passed that.  We have enough npc designs to keep us busy coding when the time comes.
