Discussion for the third race in the Oracle Series. OoS has the Subrosians, and OoA has the Tokay (God I hate them). What would the third installment have had, if we focus on how the origins of the two other races came to be. (There was talk that Subrosians, as well as other characters, were taken from MM. I don't know where the Tokay came from though).

I had thought about the Deku, but then I found out about the Deku existing in OoA.

*Reason for this in the Ideas and Concepts forum is because I'm working on the third installment.

Farore was used as the "Oracle of Secret" in both games, so I don't see how you'll be able to fit the storyline with these two.
Anyway, they used an underground-living and a tropical island tribes, so I'd go for an flying tribe.

P.S. How many projects are you working on? So far there's OOT2D, Realm of Shadows, an this one. Don't you think it would be better if you focused on just one? Making a single game is better than starting 3...

Flames. Nothing but flames. Discontinued the project because

A) Nobody really cares about OoT2D anymore
B) I like the gbc games
C) I need practice before I attempt something big like that

I'm not giving information because I'm not ready to present anything yet. I wanted ZFGC feedback so I could make the game fit in the spot it's supposed to be in (GBC Oracle Series). I ahven't beaten Ages yet, and I vaguely remember Seasons. That's why I'm asking what should be included.

Its hard for ZFGC to give feedback if there is nothing to give feedback on.
If we don't know what kind of game it will be, what will be important, how do you expect us to be able to help you.
help yourself, give us the small bits of information that you do have.

The feedback I wanted was on what the third game would have been like, in accordance to the other two. For instance, Subrosians were affiliated with earth and fire, while Tokay were affiliated with water. So, the new race in my game is going to be affiliated with wind.

Get it now?

well you can make them a scrubs type that fly or move with the wind, since they have spores that allow them to do that.

The thing is that the Tokays weren't really of the story, you only saw them after the 2nd dungeon. While Subrosians played a big part in OOS, the Tokays didn't serve any real purpose in OOA. You don't really need a new race in your 3rd oracle.

That's true. As for the villan...

Onox, General of Darkness
Veran, Sorcoress of Shadows
???

I forgot what Koume and Kotake called the flames, but I remember one being the flame of despair.

There was also the Flame of Sorrow(Veran) and the Flame of Destruction(Onox).
Onox was a warrior, and Veran was a sorceress, so I guess you should use a "stealthy" vilain.

In other words, think splinter cell. Veran had the special power of possession, so what did Onox have?

I don't think he had much of a power... he turned Din into a crystal, but that's probably just evil magic. You should play OoS, it's easier than Ages so it won't take you long to finish it. You might like it better anyway, it's like LA.

I think it was like Veran's, only he didn't take possession. He stole their power, right? That's how he controlled the Temple of Seasons?

He did sink it, but I still don't think that was much of a power... and I don't think he controlled the seasons, just threw the balance.

I'm not entirely convinced. I'll have to play through Seasons again, but I'm pretty sure he was using some of Din's power, even to become a dragon. That's why he trapped her in the crystal.

Did you get my PM? It should help. He just trapped her in the crystal because she couldn't control the seasons that way. His true form is that of a dragon, as he mentions that the form of the General is constricting. And we all know dragons possess powerful magic.

Also, Onox was summoned from the Dark Realm, and Veran was a human who possessed magical powers. By the way, I'll have some screen shots and a demo soon.
