That could theoretically go with the Great Bay warp where you end up back at the beach if you go out too far. I could probably give more examples, but the point is that it all leads up to Termina being a dream. Now, this is also shot down by the ending where the stump in Lost Woods has a skull kid drawing on it, which could mean Termina was real. I know that it is fun discussing all the minor details of Zelda Games and Nintendo loves to see that. But I think that some people just go to far and this Hylian Dan is one of them. Some times a decoration is just a decoration and a temple is formed because it looks cool. Searching to deep for a extensive meaning behind every little detail is only prove that you don't have anything to do with your life.

That statue bearing similarities with Majora's Mask/Wrath is a nice observation. But sometimes I wonder if Nintendo adds these details for people with to wild an imagination. Not everything in Zelda has a deep philosophical meaning. Even if Luke Cudy would like you to believe otherwise.
