So what are your top favorite bands to listen to on a daily basis?

My all-time favorite is Bad Religion. There's nothing special about the band besides they're lyrical prowess, but they were one of the first bands I really got into as a teenager so they remain a sentimental favorite.

Right now I'm really into Avenged Sevenfold, also. I thought their newest album was effing awesome despite what other people say.

So what are yours?

Excellent choice. The New America is their best CD by far.

It's hard to choose an all-time favorite, but I can rat off a few favorites: The Beatles (no surprise), Bloc Party (they're less known here in the States), Arctic Monkeys, Kanye West (douchebag of a person, but DAMN can this man make music,) Yellowcard (guilty pleasure), Daft Punk, Motion City Soundtrack, and MC Chris (also known as MC Pee Pants...I saw him live, !@#$% was incredible.)

That is an odd choice. Fans like to believe that The New America never existed. I've never given it a full listen but I've heard most of the songs played live (through recordings) and I can say it is full of awesome. My favorite will always be The Process of Belief, though.

And Kanye West is awesome. My friends play his single "Stronger" on loop multiple times per day, although I'm sure that's just because Daft Punk had a hand in making it.

So what! I wanna get out! 'Cos there's so much out there! So many different people, living different lives! Incredibly good guys, bad guys... Folks completely different from us! It's one huge melting pot! See, it's not about success, dying in the streets, who's better, who's not! I just want to be a part of it! I realized that even if I've no connections, no talent, even if I'm one big loser, I want to use my hands and feet to think and move, to shape my own life! We can just die here or we can try, see what we've got!

Oh hell naw! You did not just call Silverstein generic.

They pioneered the genre, man! Plus their new album "Arrivals and Departures" is awesome stuff. Good mix of screaming and melody.

I listen to quite a bit of music, (it'd be impossible for me to narrow it down to a top ten or anything like that), but I'm not sure if any of you will recognize the majority of it...

The Animal Collective
Band of Horses
Iron and Wine
Bright Eyes
Modest Mouse
TV on the Radio
The Arcade Fire
the pAperchAse
Bloc Party
Maximo Park
The Rakes
The White Stripes
Black Moth Super Rainbow
The Octopus Project
AGAINST ME!
Flogging Molly
Operation Ivy
Rancid
Death Cab for Cutie
The Postal Service
The Faint
The Unicorns
Islands
The Books
Now it's Overhead
Cake
Broken Social Scene
Rilo Kiley
Tilly and the Wall
The Shins
Elliott Smith
Interpol
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Devendra Banhart
Frog Eyes
Sublime
Bob Marley
Nirvana
Rage Against the Machine
The Faceless
Skinless
The Black Dahlia Murder
As Blood Runs Black
As I Lay Dieing
Origin
Behemoth
Through the Eyes of the Dead
Suicide Silence
Nile
Isis
Necrophagist
Job for a Cowboy

...wow, that's a lot more than I thought it was, but those are the main bands I listen to on a somewhat daily basis.  Like I said at the top, I can't narrow that down to a top ten list.  My preference changes on almost a daily basis, but the ones that I listed are my overall favorite music.

EDIT:  I forgot The Mars Volta.  dakirbymaster's post reminded me.  >_>

Domo gets major points for mentioning more than a single good artist in his post.

dakirbymaster gets second place, for having less good artists, and also being after Domo.

<__<

I might post some of the stuff I listen to a bit later. Ifonlyyouweresolucky.
