I have to wait ten whole minutes before I can make another post? Is this because of the spammer? I find it annoying as hell.

But yeah, that's gonna get really annoying really fast.

EDIT:  hm, am I immune to this because I'm a mod?  o_O   If what you're saying is true, I should have had to wait another 7 minutes or so before posting again.

This was done to prevent some of the spamming, it is annoying for everyone, it will be over later, be patient, etc.

I wonder why registrations were not just stopped.  That would be better, in my opinion.

Sorry, both registrations were stopping and the posting timeout were increased, the main reason I increased it was becuase I didn't know if they had any previous registered accounts they could use and I didn't have time to sit up and check. Anyway its back to normal now.
