Thanks for the nice comments guys. Sorry that I've been so terrible at updating and logging in. But if I was doing that, then who would be making the game?
I just want to clarify a couple of things.
Is it made in RPG maker?
This is made in Game Maker. I know that it has a failing reputation here but it's working great for the game and I'm already about halfway finished. The file size is a little over 8mb as a .exe.
I remember years back when you first started asking for help with the graphics..
I tried animating the nazgul walk cycle but apparently it wasn't up to standards haha.
Wonder if it became the placeholder you're using now or if you had someone else make placeholders?
I'm sorry man. I can't remember everybody who helped me with all of my projects back in the day because it was so long ago. Yeah, it is your Nazgul walk cycle. It looked a bit jumpy but I rearranged the frames yesterday and it looks much better. It was just a mistake on my end. Thanks, and if you want to try spriting at anything, let me know.
So yesterday, I fixed up the little bugs here and there and made the game more continuous. There are still a couple of little things to fix, but for the most part, I can't really do anything else without the sprites that I need. I had a working save and loading system implemented in the game, but it wasn't updated with any variables. I put in the necessary globals and then setup the game so that in non-linear areas you wouldn't have to do certain things over again.
I know that it's a lot to sprite, but if I can get all of them, then I'll release a demo the next day if I have to. I really just want to get a demo out. Thanks guys
