it's not exactly a complicated concept lol

the idea looks sound to me, but make sure there are a _lot_ of uses for this, at least one or two of which is crucial to the game. the game should basically revolve around the which day of the week it is, a little like majora's mask. if you don't, the whole thing becomes just a gimmick

Girls are more likely to play as an ambiguously gendered toadstool thing than a guy to play as a girl...
* Stellar points to the massive number of female characters in world of warcraft etc

on a side note, it appears i don't get to read linkfrek's original response due to its burial by other comments, but in any case i disagree with the way the article treats this as if it were a new phenomenon. nintendo has always made some cheap filler games to occupy sotfcore gamers between big stuff like mario, zelda, and smash

i'm not really fond of either but the beatles had a much greater impact on musical history and popular culture. from a "neutral" point of view, the beatles is the correct choice

it looks like even in death he won't escape widely publicized humiliation

anyway, if people want to watch stuff like that, i guess they've got a perfectly good reason to produce it. yeah it's sort of annoying that some people can make a living scamming people like that, but this scam (if it is one) is relatively petty compared to some of the huge scams that always have and presumably always will exist.

5. pulling the master sword in ocarina of time - yeah i'm going to bandwagon this. also, first setting sail in windwaker.

4. the first level of starfox: assault. the whole level gives off the aura of "holy !@#$% this is going to be just like sf64 but better in every way yeahhhhhhhh!" too bad the rest of the game was awful fml ;_;

3. zelda: ocarina of time's water temple. remains the best dungeon/level ever created in my eyes. the way the whole thing could be flipped, spun, dived into, etc was really unique and incredible.

2. there was this one time when i was playing ssbm with three friends. i don't remember the details, but i was jigglypuff, and a young link trapped everyone in a spin attack and somehow i pulled a rest out of it, koing everyone. i've no idea how i did it and i've never been able to repeat it, but it was one of the most goddamn amazing things i've ever seen in smash, let alone actually done myself.

1. the fight against dracula in iwbtg. to be fair, most of the bosses of that game were incredible (i laughed so hard at mike tyson. also the fight against the guy was excellent to begin with but made even better by his occasional shouts of "YES, I DID SLEEP WITH YOUR MOTHER"). dracula just stands out as the effects, sounds and fight were so incredibly entertaining while still being as difficult as possible. and then he turned into a waddle dee. what could be greater than that?

this looks mildly interesting. i'd be up for testing it, but to be honest i expect it to be absurdly lagtastic. live updating and sending images like that might work when only three of them are doing it, but by the time you get windows messenger-levels of users on this service, i don't think it's going to work.

this could be cool if they get the server power to support it, but until then i'll stick with irc

i really don't see how this is interesting or relevant at all. if you look hard enough, you can find these sorts of things in everything. if you read vertically down the middle, you can read "PRA" which could stand for "presidential republicans from arizona" or "please rape ass". obviously that was an intentional move by the artist

or maybe even a conspiracy reaching as high up as the akihito himself to get mccain elected

the japanese want to invade aaaaAAAAAAAAAA
