Yeah, I know what you mean. There's just something about all goos N64 games that just makes them so much better than games that have been out for this generation. I think the Gamecube was awesome, too. From launch it was nothing but fun for me every time I played it. Don't get me wrong, SSX Blur and Mario Galaxy are great games, but they just don't have the magic of SSX Tricky and Mario Sunshine. You feel more connected, in a way, to what's going on. Every time I used to play a new game I had a blast, but I just don't get that same feeling anymore. I think Red Steel did it for me, but that's about it. I could sit around playing my N64 and Gamecube at night, not caring that I wasn't with my friends- I never got bored. But now I'm never as sucked in, and if I am, I don't feel anything. It's not just Wii either- it's the same for my 360. I suppose you could say I just can't connect anymore, but every time I boot up SA2 Battle, I can play that thing forever and never get bored. The poor camera doesn't bother me, I don't even think it's bad. Sure, it looks kinda crap compared to say GTA IV, but when I play Metal Harbor I still get a rush. You just don't get games like that these days, that you can just pick up, play, and and be not only entertained but filled with content that it's all worth doing, and that you know you'll come back for more.
