Yuretopiaâ€™s peace is shattered by the marauding pirate Shay King. Queen Melfull and her Melfull subjects are imprisoned and Shay King claims the legendary â€œDeldel Purseâ€, which spits out coins when shaken. Female pirate Captain Maple Syrup observes Yuretopiaâ€™s crisis from the outside world. Desiring the legendary treasure, she steals the Ancient Globe and sends it to Wario to avoid the actual work of stealing it. Wario prepares to raid the kingdom when one of the Melfull escapes to the outside world in hopes of finding help. Beseeched by the Queen to become a hero to the kingdom, Wario sets off to Yuretopia. So... is it just me, or does this game look !@#$% amazing? I guess I've always liked the Wario Land games, so that's probably part of it, plus the hand-drawn sprites and such look awesome. Some of the gameplay almost reminds me of Yoshi's Island. Discuss. Logged

I also agree about the Metroid thing.

the gameboy games were some of the best, you should look into them hof.

and yes, this wario land looks awesome, some of the shake gimmicks look a bit annoying, but most of them; controlling vehicles/etc looks pretty cool.

Well, Wario Land: Shake It! AND Fatal Frame IV this year. Oh, and don't forget about MadWorld. And The Conduit. And Monster Hunter 3. And those last four are third-party exclusive. And of course, whatever Nintendo have under wraps. The Wii has a chance at E3 .

Fatal Frame isn't exactly genre defining. And most of those are new IP's. Don't get too excited.

A lot of them have great potential to suck, especially The Conduit. But on the other hand, Fatal Frame is being co-directed by Suda 51 and co-developed by Grasshopper, and Nintendo is also working on it somehow. MadWorld shares developers from Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4 and former members of Clover. And Monster Hunter 3 is being completely developed by the original studio of the other two games, and it looks great. If it's not online-focused (due to something Wii-related) that would indeed suck, though. Otherwise, I think these game have great potential. Either way, they're third-party exclusive, and they look decent. And that's a good thing for Nintendo. Logged

Huh? lol I agree; it's a very beautiful game. I'm not happy about it being retail price (<_<;

, and I dislike random waggles of the wiimote (lol); but yes this game looks kickass lol And I also agree on the metroid thing <_<;;
