So, the other day I went to see Pixar's new movie "Up". I'll be totally honest: I was pretty much expecting it to be underwhelming, just like everyone else in the world. But HOLY CRAP IT WAS AMAZING. Just for good measure, I have to say that again: IT WAS AMAZING. Quite possibly the best movie I have ever seen. Like, ever. It was really that good.

I personally loved it. The beginning was incredibly heartfelt, so much more than anything Pixar has ever done, even Wall-E. The rest of the film was also very funny and the animation was beautiful.

If you can, see the 3D version. The effect is used sparingly, but it's very cool.

Yeah, I didn't see it in 3D, because I utterly hate 3D, it gives me a splitting headache. As long as it's used sparingly the effect is cool, but the headache really ruins the whole experience.

that movie was fantastic even in 2D. a lot of the women cried and I almost did "what? no got something stuck in my eye." Did anyone catch that the guy that was trying to take his house was the boyscout's dad?

It pretty much solidified Pixar's place as the best movie-making company in the universe. Ever. I didn't think anything could beat Wall-E...but it did.

It was nice to see a kid who wasn't more mature and insightful than the adults, and an old man who wasn't the most likable person. THe people were actually three-dimensional. Pun intended.

I saw it twice. :] Once in 3d, once in 2d. It was amazing. I like the score a lot as well.

AH man, I still have to wait a few months before it is released in theaters here. And no I'm not going to view an illegal CAM or TS version, because the poor quality often ruins the movie.
