to start with: I Wanna be the Guy!

if you haven't heard of IWBTG! ( http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/ ) it's quite possibly the hardest game known to mankind or at least to me (other than the impossible mario heck) and should take you atleast an hour to get past the first few screens. (unless you are totally hardcore or completely radical) One of the reasons I bring it up here is because there is a hilarious Zelda reference after the title screen.

NEXT UP: Syoban Action (Cat Mario)

ruthlessly hard mario clone that is in moonspeak (other than PRESS START) not that you need to read to play mario anyway :P. trust me you will slap yourself till your nose bleeds when you get to the end of the first stage.

have any experience with those or any other impossible games?

IWBTG was made in Multimedia Fusion 2. It's quite possibly the greatest reference to MMF2's power in the best of it's ability.

I don't know why you decided to talk in some programming language that looks ugly as !@#$% (or any language for that matter), but shouldn't you use == for conditionals? zz

Toki Tori (GBC)? I'm getting pissed at that.

Also, Garfield: Caught in the Act. It is stupid hard. Nigh impossible, even.

Why in the world would you want to play an impossible game?

I mean, I like some challenge in videogames, but past a certain point a game provides nothing but frustration and time-wasting.

oh god. It reminded me of Zelda 2 where almost every town consisted of the same people with the same buildings... then again I never got that far in Zelda 2

Kaizo is pretty tough.

It stopped being tough when everyone and their mom just save states ever 2 seconds and then acting like they accomplished something when they beat it.
