LAWL what the !@#$%?! 99% of the games on the 360 are not made for kids. But for teenagers and adults. So if you want to let your kiddo play online without people that swear, just !@#$% mute other players or let 'em play online on the Wii. Also what are parents trying to protect their kids from? It's not like they won't hear people cursing anywhere else...

Why does everyone assume it wouldn't be optional? It's probably just for parents who don't want their kids to hear certain things, beit while playing an M rated game or an E rated game.
