So I tried connecting to my new router with my DS for the first time, and it was secured- so I did it by AOSS, and now on my laptop, despite the DS working fine with it, it isn't showing up on the list of connections, but there's one with the SSID, "93284E93F49078327482H783748AP32784" (not exact) that has a perfect connection. However, once connected I still can't connect to the internet. I know for a fact that's not it the router, because it's a Buffalo Airstation with the SSID, "Buffalo"

What the hell's going on?

Btw, I'm using someone else's wireless- which is slow as !@#$%.

It worked fine before I did the AOSS thing. I could just go straight onto it. Why my DS, but not my laptop? I mean, me and my sister freaking installed it on my laptop!

WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF?!

New router? Make sure you're broadcasting your SSID from the router

How do I do that? Well it's probably not doing that then, since I don't see no Buffalo.

Does AOSS stop the SSID being broadcast?

Yeah, it's a new router- but it worked fine up until now, with the SSID showing up and everything. I checked my Wii- and that's defnitely the SSID because I used the password to connect to it.

Damn you AOSS.

I would reset the router(small pin hole in the back), make sure you set it up so your laptop gets full connectivity, then try to get the DS working; I have a feeling you skipped a step or two

There is no reset...

I looked up AOSS and it actually sets up a network- so it's probably overwritten the actual network that was set up, so I'll have to reinstall it. I helped my sister install it a few days ago- but now the installation disc is in her computer, which is in her room and it's 1 am here so she's in bed.

Damn. This is irritating me.

There should be a reset button... what model/maker of router do you use?

I seem to have got it working now. Only after setup is the SSID "Buffalo", so I just reset it. The hole "init" was reset.
