Well, it's stupid enough to do sosmething like this, but with TP? It's only been out for about three months. It's the biggest Zelda game by far, it's taken TRM enoguh time  as it is to make a game a fraction of the size, and he's had spriting help and gone through many iterations (if it exists). All the FAQs, glitches, etc. haven't even been found.

Why the hell do people even like the GB style? It's undetailed, and it basically sucks for fan games. At least make something good. And you can't even emulate the interactivity of the Wii version. What about all those minigames where you have to aim the arrows, such as when you have to hit the pole in Kakariko Village and get the heart container? You just can't do that in 3d.

Don't do this. You're doomed to failure. And everything that .TakaM said, too.

a 'pro fangame maker'? no such thing
Sorry if I didnt make myself clear, what I meant was GM pro, not fangame maker pro.
i still wouldn't invest that title in trm until he actually releases something more than a walk demo
well he made some engines(I would post a link with them but they are here too I think).
And by the time he released a demo it was more than just a walking demo and it was time ago which by now must be better than some of these silly combine engines people use now.
But Whatever why waste my time proving something that I dont care about, the thing is that malon needs a map to make a project that would get nowhere, would you guys hep him or not?

Well, atleast now you can make a Twilight Princess game that has a storyline. I remember that as soon as the name of the game was released people started to make 2D versions.

That mockup looks nice. But it's still just a mock-up.

I say give him a chance but it's kinda impossible to finish a 3d game in 2d. Maybe just try Ordon, then stop it.
Don't try to do such big things, trust me many people did and 99% failed. Make your original game, think up a story, make your own style, get your own music. Remaking is a bit pointless but yeah, it can help you learn alot.

Look, you people are just being completely rude. Hyrule_boy, I hate to say it but you can't exactly talk. You're remaking Majora's Mask in GB style, and though you've made some progress you needed a lot of help from others. I admit, I doubt this will ever get finished, but let him try. He could still accomplish a lot.

Jesus Christ... /me gets some popcorn.
Okay, now on a more serious mode...
It's your 4th post on Void Projects in a period of less than 2 months... You're indeed very unstable.
You should also show us some work... I've never had a project of mine go past the 5 replies mark... Was it because I didn't promise I would finish it?
And you've given proof that you have absolutely no fan-gaming nor game-making experience, and as lots of people recommend I highly recommend too by starting with more easy stuff... maze games, puzzle games, and stuff like that... For example, I have over 3 years on fan-gaming and game-making and I have full conscience that I can't make a Zelda Fan-Game.
However, I wish you good luck on getting experience and on your projects. ^^

ORIGINALITY.

Please state ONE reason as to why you won't come up with an orignal story.

Have fun failing :(
talk about running before you can walk. This is so stupid.

It took Nintendos developers 4 years to make this masterpiece. they are a team of EXPERTS and you think you can do this on your own?
You must be joking or deluded. I give you a month before you see how much work you have to put into doing this and give up, and you will give up, probably sooner than later. TP cannot be converted to 2D because you will remove vital gameplay elements.

Think. It might have have took them 4 to 5 years to come up with TP BUT Thats because of it being on GameCube and Wii plus the 3D graphics and it having to be PERFECT for the world...but thats it, this is a FANGAME! Fan + Game = FUN!
Thats why they call this Zelda Fan Game Central! Just give him a chance. I'm working on Wind Waker Advanced Witch is a remake of Wind Waker and I think that its impossible....But i try, along with my friends support and my PC....I might get it done. I just hope he feels the same. :( Do you now see his point of view.

Nothing is really impossible, but hard. I think I understand how he feels but, one single person can't really take on such a big project by himself! And, I think it's already been said, VITAL GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS!
How would he make, for example, the city in the sky? Explain me that.
