Sounds and looks interesting. If time allows it, I could try to help you with things, mainly translation-wise. Guess we should talk or something. Do you have MSN?

Edit: And don't forget to give credit, too. To like, OldSkoolMario for the sprites, and I don't know who made those tiles.

Talk about a cliffhanger.
I lol'd.

I own it... I could paste it page by page if you wish to read the rest?
I wish you wouldn't have posted. It would have been hilarious if that really WAS the end of the book, judging from IL's first post, haha.

Suddenly everyone noticed that someone else stole their stuff.

Oh, by the way, completely unrelated, but how long after the songs have been released have the "original creators" been complaining? Can't tell me they didn't instantly hear the song when such a famous band releases new stuff.

Geez Louise.

Click on the SEGA timer's letters. :o

http://prope.sega.jp/letscatch/

Looks like a Wii baseball game. But instead of actually playing baseball, you just catch the ball. SOUNDS FUN
And it doesn't just end here.

THIS JUST IN. SEGA CONFIRMED A NEW TITLE FOR THE WII.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

Edit: Oh god, I'm sorry but

the game

actually looks like fun. Especially for Wiiware.

CUTE CHARACTER DESIGN

HOW CAN THIS BE.

lets add to that mysterious timer....

Guess you can never have enough "other mysterious timer".

Since we're here, we might as well mention this Sega teaser:

HOLY !@#$% YOU GUYS.

From the page source:
<meta name="description" content="謎の時計がマーベラスエンターテイメント公式サイトに登場! 新しいゲームが、新たな時を刻む…。" />
It's riddle time at Marvelous Entertainment's official site! A new game will "kizamu" a new time...

"kizamu" being: to mince; to carve; to engrave; to cut fine; to chop up; to hash; to chisel; to notch

The title: "乞うご期待!" is: "Your chance to ask!"

If that holds true, then try to remember this:

http://kotaku.com/5127251/nintendo-patent-reveals-potential-paradigm-shift-in-design

Ah? Ah? A new game will cave a new time [of playing the vidya]? And the stupid-ass hint-system?

I DO BELIEVE WE GET TO SEE A NEW ZELDERN

Just kidding, I don't know. Take it as you wish.

Since we're here, we might as well mention this Sega teaser:

http://pole.sega.jp/

Hey, there's a mushroom.  I guess Sega must be making a Mario game with that newfangled blast processing of theirs.
My friend says there were speculations that that is a sign that Mario will be confirmed for Brawl.

But the thing is, the Triforce is not always the Triforce.  Exhibit A:

!@#$% YEAH. I KNEW I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW THAT.

It is Zelda related

but it won't be about a new game.
You shut your !@#$% mouth I want to believe

slightly off topic... i can make a triforce shadow puppet with my hands ^_^
Nobody cares.
Also, Babelfish translated the caption of the site to this:

"乞 [ u] expectation!"

Screw you Babelfish.

But the "乞" at the beginning is apparently Chinese for "Begging".

So running the Japanese for "Begging" along with the rest through Babelfish again returns this.

"The expectation which you ask and question densely! "

Well that sure is conclusive!

29
oh god not this !@#$% again

The viva la vida one is !@#$%. If you take into account that rock songs (especially for written for guitar) only use a handful of keys, and that nearly every rock song uses I IV V, it's likely that two will use the same key and sound the same.
Plus the melodies aren't the same. They are similar, due to the fact that they're the same key, but not the same.

This. When every other idiot tries to be big and releases a song, it's hard to come up with something new. I'm not entirely sure they did NOT steal, but so far I'm on the "not-stealing"-site.

Besides, it's actually IMPOSSIBLE to be completely original. There are things that just sound good and since you (and the members of coldplay, too) are human beings, you just end up coming up with these things.

Remember Goodnight's topic about the golden ratio in music? It's just like that.

Now cut this !@#$% out. "IF YOU PUT THAT TEMPO DOWN ADD A NOTE THERE AND AND AND UH PUT IT ALL AN OCTAVE HIGHER THEN IT ALMOST JUST SOUNDS ALIKE FOR TWO SECONDS THEY STOLE."

Jesus christ. You people and your conspiracy-stuff.

B...but I don't want to give the star chips back... It's the only way I can save my grandpa.

Some people need them more than you, you ignorant !@#$%.

Hello ZFGC I woke up today and my friend linked me to this:

What is this, and why is the timer going to reach zero in about eight days?

DO YOU KNOW?

I DONT THINK SO.

And hence would commence a more than pointless clash of opinions, one less important than the next. Great.

Besides, there isn't REALLY something like  Good, Bad, Better or Worse. It's what you make of it. "Debates" like these only ruin those things. Just try to enjoy the things you're given for a change.

Way to go captain saracastic, do you ever post anything positive?
NO

FOR I AM CAPTAIN SARCASTIC.

Good job proving my points wrong. That means I win. Hell yes, victory on the internet.

There is no debate being promoted there. There's you saying that a game is better than another, without providing any of your reasoning behind the opinion. Therefore, that could be easily classified as either an attempt to troll or to flame.

Thats not what I said is it. I said it was almost better. The debate would have started when someone said "No Tales of is better because" at which point I would retort as to why Zelda is better.

Nintendo will not ever release Super Mario Allstars on the VC! They will let us pay for each game separately...
Refer to:
Quote from: Fox
I guess Nintendo doesn't do that because it would be like wasting about 5 games for the price of 1.
The biggest joke would of course be if they'd release every game seperately and then a month after offer All-Stars for sale.

I'd probably laugh.

By the by, I haven't been to the VC-channel at all in the past few months. People still buy stuff from there? Is it still big?

I'm still waiting for them to put Zombies Ate My Neighbors onto the VC dammit.
I PLAYED THAT AT MY UNCLE'S.

Too bad I don't remember anything from it.

You could get it on Wii with homebrew. You could use an emulator or find an injected vc channel with the game on it. Odds are that Nintendo won't be releasing it soon though.

Nintendo is much more likely to release every game on Super Mario All-Stars individually than as the one package.
They have already I'm pretty sure. XD

Edit: Also, Zentwawhatever. What's the point in an All-Stars for the Wii, anyway? Just so that you can play something good in even better  graphics?
Maybe it's one of those games that is a favorite and really wants, kinda like how I want Majora's Mask on VC.

I have to admit that I misunderstood. I thought they wanted a NEW remake of the games, especially for the Wii.

Hey, I don't know about you but I did be more than willing to pay maybe 2000 wii points ($20 dollars for it)
which would be combination of all points for SMB SMB2 SMB3 SMBLL!
You, and what army?

Petitions are a little... lame, actually...

They don't get anything done, and they can't actually *force* the company to develop what you want them to develop.

I'd personally rather see Nintendo do it because they want to do it, not because they're forced to.

Petitions tell companies that they have loyal consumers who are genuinely interested in enough in a product to petition about it. If a company doesn't respond to consumer interest, then they have no excuse if that dies out. And if consumers don't tell companies what they want, they have no reason to !@#$% about not getting it.
Good point. However, most people are just talk. They SAY they want something, but when they get the opportunity, there are suddenly dozens of factors that speak against buying it, or buying it for now.

The customer does not know what he wants. You tell the customer what he wants. That's a golden rule in industry.

Edit: Also, Zentwawhatever. What's the point in an All-Stars for the Wii, anyway? Just so that you can play something good in even better  graphics?

Not worth it. All-Stars was a one-time-thing. You pull it off once, it's awesome. You pull it off twice, it looks cheap. Stop worrying about it and just enjoy the games you already got.

lol online petitions

Sorry, but that isn't going to get anything done.  You really want Super Mario Allstars? Go download the rom.  Against Piracy?  Go buy a SNES.

well thanks for kicking me in the nads there! :-[
yes it may not work but I at least I trying!
Instead of trying something obviously futile, go and figure out a way to make it actually work.

Sonic Unleashed is much better than the past few Sonic games have been (much better than Sonic '06, that's for sure). The werehog stages aren't really that bad actually, although they aren't as fun as the Sonic stages. I just wish there were more Day stages because they are so good.

Note that I am talking about the Wii/PS2 version. Yes, it is pretty much a completely different game compared to the 360/PS3 version.
By which you mean it's better than the past few ones that really really sucked.

By which you mean it's better than the past few ones that really really sucked which came a decade or two after those that were alright because I never liked the series to begin with.

tl;dr, but... it's scary to see something that I had to learn in media-design-school now being applied in music.

Like something that is being used in visuals is also being used in audio.

The Goden Ratio is !@#$% awesome. Excellent article, too.
