Heyo, in my WIP fangame I'm going to be using LTTP tiles and objects, with Minish Cap style people and gameplay. However, one serious flaw to this plan is, I have a lacking in the tiles and sprites from AlTTP, and, they don't mesh nicely with MC tiles and sprites. So, if anyone was feeling up to recoloring some with the MC palette, or just finding me a complete tile set (I've scoured google and only come up with the field tiles) so that I can recolor it, that would be a major help. I will give credit in the game, and will post a mock-up when the colored tiles have been acquired.

Paint does en-mass recoloring O.O that's new. Just wondering, cuz my laptop which I'm forced to resort to doesn't have paint, and i'm having to recolor in GM8 XD Thanks though, I'll be certain to get the ones you mentioned. And, one important question. MC style NPCs and Link, or All recolored ALTTP style?

You could also recolor using GIMP.

Made In Gimp, thanks for the advice. Comparison between draft .01 against the uncolored. I personally like it a lot. Meaning, I'll have to carry it over to allllll the other little files.

In my opinion the style you're using doesn't fit with the MC NPCs. You're using GB-like tiles. So Link is too big. Maybe it would look better if you used ALttP tiles.

Those are ALTTP tiles, they're just recolored. MC people and stuff are on average larger than LTTP. Or they were last time I checked.

Actually the size of the ALTTP sprites is nearly the same as of the MC sprites. And this is not ALttP style. Just google "A Link to the Past". This is the first image result I get:

Odd, I don't even know what game their from if their not from ALTTP, I got them from google also. *Shrug*

Those are actually miniaturised LttP tiles. I'm pretty sure someone made them for Zelda Classic since it uses smaller sprites.

They look a lot like recolored LA tiles. You can see it at how sharp the cliff curves. ALttP has first a diagonal cliff before going from vertical to horizontal and vice versa. The house it self is way to small, compared to the door and window for ALttP. And the ladder is to thin also.
If you are looking for ALttP tiles, I suggest you go to TSR or VGMaps. You'll find all the tiles for recoloring there.

actually i have linked him alright to the resource section where every lttp tile is... don't know why he has to google for it O.o

Doesnt have ALL of them, has all the dungeon tiles though.

Not quite a double post, and I hope it isn't taken as one, but ZFG has given me some tiles, recolored ALTTP or something, (Not entirely sure) and I'm going to post a mockup. So, here. You likey?
