I received an e-mail saying that a video was removed from my account because it a infringing copyright from Fox.
Which is all fine and dandy but what confuses me is that they deleted my video but didn't seem to mind any of the thousands of copyright infringing videos of Mario, Simpson's, other Family Guy clips, the list goes on. So WTF? :huh: I say if there going to delete mine then, delete all copyright infringing material from their site!

I not upset I just think its a little ill judgmental of them to not go after everybody else that has been submitting stuff that wasn't theirs. Anyways the video was old, I needed to delete it anyway!

it was the one I posted awhile back about the peter griffin getting slap happy with the proclaimers, I removed the ad crap at the end because when I posted about it over here I was advised to but they still deleted it.

Youtube will only remove copyrighted content if they're asked/forced to.  I'm pretty sure fox has sued/threatened to sue if they dont' remove fox's property.  Nintendo probably doesn't give a !@#$%.

Since Nintendo actually used Youtube video montages for E3 anyway.

well I figured out why fox did it.
If memory serves Season 4 of Family Guy just came out on DVD and the clip I had was from an episode in that season.

And is the e-mail a warning to not do it or is it a warning that fox might sue me?

I doubt Fox (lol) has any interests in sueing single people. They wouldn't get much money sueing you. Don't worry.

Nah they won't sue you! but after a few warnings your Youtube account will be banned, you can make a new one though.
