DLC also has a date of October 6. It'll let you play as Proto Man.

Definitely getting this.
I only really played megaman 2 and 3. But both those, especially 2, are amazing. So hopefully this one is too.
Proto Man DLC seems kind of useless though, should really be free.

Just got Mega Man 2- my first time ever playing any Mega Man game, so I know next to nothing about it other than run, shoot, jump. Just to make things hard for myself, I made sure to do it on Difficult mode. Needless to say, this is the first game I've played in a long time that's actually difficult and fun at the same time. Naturally, I tried the Airman stage, but after dying on the first 2 platforms, I moved on to Woodman. My God, it's so lovably annoyingly difficult! At first I was like, "HOW THE !@#$% AM I SUPPOSED TO BEAT THIS METAL TIGER?!", until I beat him on something like the 4th/5th try, to find there was a 2nd. And a 3rd. Woodman's level makes me foam at the mouth with rage- especially the middle part with the birds/monkeys. Needless to say, I got to Woodman, and I lost. Try again. Lost. Try again. Lost. I just love how ridiculously challenging this game is. Best game I've played in a LONG time!

Our difficult mode is Japans only mode...which makes me laugh.

And cry when i try to beat Airman.

I know, unlike some of the other NES titles of its time, Mega Man seems to be difficult and enjoyable. Others are just difficult.

I got up to the second last level in the game (Dr. Wily level 5) and I can't win, so I think I've got the most enjoyment I possibly could get out of the game. This is the second Mega Man game I've played (Mega Man 1 was the other) and I love it.

I downloaded Mega Man 2 on my old cell phone, just for kicks (and to pass the time in Study halls). I got to Wily 4 on Normal Mode, but I've played Hard Mode in roms and can barely beat a level. :P <3 Megaman.

I'm so getting this game. On my PS3 of course, since my Wii's "Hard Drive" is almost full.
