its a bit messy compared to the rest of the tiles, should be pretty much as detailed as the shingles on the roofs
something more like the ones in lttp

Better?

Made stone and box

Not so happy with them, but with some editing, I think they'll fit in fine.

Everything seems to be going smooth. The sprites all looks nice guys.
Maybe i'll do a little something when i have some time too. I haven't tried my hand at spriting ever since i did a few mockups and editing back in the days in one of the ZFGCs.   ::)

You should round the stone off and maybe improve the lighting on the box TomPel, but they look great!
Also TaKaM, that open door looks a tad funky...the interior looks a bit like stairs going upwards.

Also, is anyone going to try to do anything to the water? Maybe I ought to. . .

This is indeed a great idea, I seriously hope I can contribute (within my weak skills) quite a lot with the project. ^^
Anyways, felt like recoloring Link and trying to edit Tingle - which you said you weren't happy with.

Linky, it's really bad. Sorry :\

And darklink, go look at a sign in LttP. How big are they compared to the characters? That same ratio should apply here. Your sign and pot are WAAAYYY too small. And they aren't all that good, either.

Say what?

And .TakaM, that style PWNS!  And also, the style in your sig (like it better), are you doing anything with that?  Cause you really should!  :)

I can't imagine that few frames making a good walking animation, but that looks great, SwordsMan!

tight butthole, I don't like the side view of Link... it looks like he's leaning backwards like there's something wrong with his back.

Hey anyone know where I can find that program that takes an image and cuts them up into tiles? I wanted to use it to quickly cut up some backgrounds.

Hm... I should probably put something here...

I think it was somewhere in Game Maker page...
(Goes check)

Not sure if this is the one you meant.

I'm not sure if that's the right program... The program that I saw a long time ago on the old ZFGC was a background splitting program where you get the background you want to use, and it will automatically cut it ino the proper 16x16 tiles.

Even after your edit I still think the same. I think it's because his arms are far too close to his back, I think they need to come forward a pixel or two.
