omg octorocks  :o

just wondering how many frames do you think it needs?
the up animation already looks good with only 2 frames, but i dunno if you want smoother animations
(zelda1's octorock also had 2 frames  :P)
nice work, but it kinda looks like he has 8 legs
it does have 8 legs, it was more based on the zelda 1 octorocks, the have 8 legs 2, and since the are OCTO-rocks i asumed 8 was the right amount

i can always chage it, if thats what you want?

I recolored some tiles of the Dark World at MGZ's request. And I recolored some sunset looking tiles.

The graphics look pretty nice for the most part, but the pallette is way too red-tinted.

I probably took out a bit more red than necessary, but look here.  The top is after I reduced the red, and the bottom is the original.

I've done it (sorta)!  Bloom Lighting in GameMaker, and 3D mode too!  Check out the awesome Screen Saver.

Good point, maybe if someone used a day-night system those could be mid-day and these could be after-noon, my sunset one would go next, then night, then the palletette that .TakaM originally used for his avy for morning.

nothing wrong with a red tint to the whole thing, pretty much every game does something like this

it would be 14.5 times easier to make a background that changes its color respectivly to the ingame clock

quick recolour:
I recolored some tiles of the Dark World at MGZ's request. And I recolored some sunset looking tiles.
not bad or anything, but I think we should let people recolour the tiles themselves, that way they can get it exactly how they want

which goron do you guys prefer:

Out of the two Gorons, I'd have to say the one on the right. The left one just isn't close enough to the Goron's earthen tone and looks too much like Hylian skin. You might want to put a little bit of wraparound of the Goron's rocky outer skin on the arms and such too.

I agree with Storm, I think the one on the right looks better. Also, Bboy, nice recolor. A winter/snow one would also look cool. :P
