Wow, Taka, that's incredible. However.. (:P) I think it'd look nicer and fit the style better with some form of outline, and at the end of the animation, the three little explosion bits kind of spiral into nothing (quickly), which looks very odd. Maybe have them move apart a bit and shrink some. Explosions also usually die away more quickly from/at the bottom, so maybe that'd help with the "disappearing" frames.

This page has a few explosion animations that might help: (sorry I couldn't find a better resource)

EDIT: Also, the bit at the top disappears very quickly.

nice explosion, if you would just do the right thing for once and post a sheet of it,
(i dont have tools to decompose gifs) i could make the bomb in my project...
and the other bomb too :)
also make a bomb sprite or ill use -=GB GRAPHICS=-

Nice explosion, however it doesn't seem to have a centre point... like the centre of the circle isn't in line with the little explosive point on the actual explosion. Great nonetheless :)

pretty ok bomb
i can do the bomb animation myself, its just the tip lighted up and burning until it reaches the bomb
then the explosion will go off

yeah I dont know if thats such a good idea, its a pretty small detail that would mean a lot more frames, and I figure it would look better having some smoke particles coming from the fuse

That explosion looks awesome!
The only thing that bothers me a little are the three yellow spots in the middle at the end of the animation. I think these should shrink and then disappear.

It wouldn't need to go "down".. it could just have a little spark on the end so it doesn't look so... still, and so it looks like it's actually lit.
