Yes it was definitley neccasary, you can't have no blues in a pallete.

DL, although your sprite is awesome, it's really too small to be ganon and too big to be a moblin. And yeah, you're right, of course we need some blues eventually. Sorry.

here i made a small shield, not really meant for combat, but more for wall decorations.  I've also added 2 more colors.  And for the record, it's not the Hylian Shield, it's only based on it

Sorry for the double post.

Rock/Dirt?

Not bad, but I think the outline of the "cobbles" is a little too dark.. like the contrast of the whole thing is a little high.

It doesn't pattern well, I'm not being judgemental I'm just giving some advice.
