Done. I was trying to make them look like the ones from TP, all crystalline and stuff.

ok so i have a but load of stuff to show today i was manipulating the minish cap link and i thought hey this is easy so i got the zfgc link and animated him walking up and walking down in 2 versions its based off of mc links walking, if people like i will do side views too.. n_n

Looks incredibly awkward. He looks like he's flailing his legs out to the side. It works on a midget like MC link, but not here.

the version 1 anim seems nice and smooth, but his arms and legs are too stubby.  move him arms more like in version 2 and bend his legs

while its good to see more than 4 frames for an animation, you've made a really weird run cycle
I can see you just moved his legs from the stationary sprite around, the result is his legs don't look like legs, no one runs with their legs pointing out that far, just make them parallel

also, why is you gif such a bad quality, and why did you save the sheet as a jpg? makes them completely useless

The first one is better, just needs to bounce a little less, I reckon. Also, you could look at the way the feet are animated on the child version (facing forward) for reference.

The second one looks like he's ice-skating.

I've been meaning to comment on those tiles mgz, sorry for taking so long:

I think you need to make the transition between the second lightest grey and the second darkest grey (halfway down the brick wall) smoother, I don't mean adding a new shade, I mean putting some lighter bricks in the darker part and vice versa

also, it'd be very nice to get some diagonal tiles ;)

Taka, I think I know what you mean...you mean the part where you can see the front of the wall where it suddenly gets dark?  And i'll see what I can do for diagonals =)

Its hard to tell what it will look like without an animated gif version. I think that the feet will look too small, as the standing feet/legs are pretty big.

Devy. Why does your Link have no legs? Only MC style has that where the feet comes right out of the tunic. And dont we already have running down animation?
