and here's a product of my boredom, I put the mockup onto moonshell and took a photo:

Whoo!! Takam, it's awesome.
I don't understand how you make this, it's a fake?  :o

It's look very good, a game with this or it's make just for the pleasure?

He simply loaded the mockup images onto his DS, using MoonShell, and then took a pic.
It's no game ;).

not happy with it, edit it if you want

edit-
you mean the neck of the bottle is too high (do you call it the neck of a bottle in English? you do in Dutch :P )?
it just looks like its facing up, like you can see the neck connect to the.. lid from the bottom

I like it TaKaM, but the animation seems a tad jittery...the hair, hat and body moving forward seem too sudden.

Bleh. Even for a small sprite, it could use some detail. Maybe some super cool 3D-ish shading?

taka, is this what you meant by transitioning the darker and lighter shades?

better, I still think you should get rid of the darkest bricks in the middle though

i redid the chest :)
looks actually very good, but kinda out of style, needs to be lighter
Fixed up the magic jar a bit. I think it needs a shadow though.
not any better really
Better, but the wood needs to be browner, it looks rusted too.
only post in the development topic when you have something to submit please

Gah, this new system is totally confusing and has sucked all the activity out of this thread.
Anyway, the fences don't tile with the horizontal/vertical ones and the well's perspective is off :x

the activity its sucked out wasn't important, it was just hollow compliments.
progress hasn't really slowed down at all, progress has always been slow (and Im not going to get back into making these graphics since I myself have already made atleast two thirds of everything)
just without all the chit chatter you're lead to believe progress has slowed down

anywho, those tiles
personally, I considered diagonal fence tiles a while back.. and decided against them.. first most fences are just squares with 90° angles, secondly they just complicate things and I don't thing they're worth it
the steps kinda look like a step down (pun not intended) from the stone stairs we already have, and yes as others have mentioned, the well does look out of perspective.

check the angle in the stone/wood floor tiles, they accurately depict the exact angle

Which is the main Link - the tall, grown up one, or Tompel's one?
