I need suggestions for a tree..

I've already constructed the base of the tree in lineart (lower trunk and roots) and now all I need is an idea/suggestion as how to make the top of the tree look. Like in what style? Leaves, blob of green or other color, bare branches, pine, etc?

It would probably depend on what the base looks like. Some leaves don't look right for a tree that's at a certain angle, or certain amount of detail.
