Do you like this art style at all?
Ya know, the messy, quick-drawn, un-even style like this:

(quick drawn example by me, it's a fight scene from ZFGC: Gang Wars when Link fights Alspal)

Sure, it's messy, un-proportional, and sometimes crud, but I think it can be cool at times.

   What do you think?

The line makes it look like lips though XD. It's not bad. I like the rough edges. If you fix it up proportionally a bit (for example, Link's arm seems way too small and his head too big), it'll look AWESOME!

Well, I wasn't asking... Meh, I guess you're saying what would make you LIKE this style, but I wasn't asking for improvements, since this style is in fact, un-proportional. :P I have no plans to use it or anything, I just drew this quick example cuz I was bored. lol

Yea, I know. I kinda said that already. XD But it was to comment on this style, since, it is a style. It's not like you can improve a style. It's just the way it is. To quote me:

XD Me too, but I think pros actually put loads of time and effort into making it look perfectly crude... o_O Me, I just drew it sloppy and quickly. lol ;D

I don't really like it, because I'm a fan of clean crisp lines, pixel art or professional looking photoshop pieces.  I could give you a bunch of C+C but you said you don't want it.

I don't want it, because this is a STYLE. You can't change a STYLE... >_>

I didn't come up with this style or anything, so you can't really tell me how to improve when the actual goal was a messy, un-proportional, piece of work. It's just the style.

Look, not to sound harsh or anything, but don't use style as a crutch for your mistakes. Put a little bit more effort into it, work on proportions, coloring, etc, and I'm sure it would look fine. Just don't use "style" as a crutch.

EDIT: I think that first part came off a bit too harsh n__n... Sorry about that. Even if it is "the style" you can still improve on a style anyways, can't you?

If you wanna see a GOOD, well-drawn out pic from me, then just say so...

THIS IS A STYLE, go take a grade 2 art class and you'll learn that much...
   Prepare to get ed-u-ma-cated. XD

All QK was saying is not to use style as a crutch. Because it looks pretty sloppy the way it was put together, sure it can be said that is the style. But because it looked like it was put together in about a minute he made that comment. But maybe that was how you wanted it to look. He is just making his opinion on the drawing, and that he think it looks like you just wiped it up and are using "style" as a crutch.

Also if you are going to ask people for their opinions on it, then don't get so pissed off when they give you an honest opinion about it.

You're still not getting it...

I never asked for opinions on the pic I posted, that was an example of this style.
I'm asking if you like that style. Not how can I improve this style, since, this style is not mine. I didn't make it. It cannot be improved, it is a PERMANENT STYLE.

   But yet everyone's making it seem like I'm making up my own style to cover my shity drawing ability or something... >_>
