Everything looks like !@#$% on DS.  Wind Waker is beautiful though—So is Four Swords Adventures.  If they used FSA's style on the DS it would look much better than Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks.

Yeah I can definitely agree with that :p

FSADS would be nice.

This was what I was trying to say at 6 in the morning. It's not that I don't like the style, I love it, but I hate the way they try and force 3D onto handhelds like this.
Honestly the game would be better in 2D.

The four swords/ minish cap style IS really pretty, and I really think they ought to use it agin.

But I agree, the windwaker style is nice - in the gamecube game it was marvelous. The problem is, in the gamecube game there was a vast overworld to look at, changing camera angles and enjoy the detaiuls. I feel like the camera angle in ST everytime in a town or dungeon is slightly uncomfortable - like it's just A LITTLE too far or too close all the time. And the overworld - I just want an overworld.

I don't hate ST. The music WAS wonderful, the Zelda+Link relationship was lovely and heartwarming, the use of a (former good)bad guy that turns good (again) was a nice touch, but somehow I just couldn't care for any other characters than link and zelda.
For me, who has Majora's mask as my favorite game, it felt bleak. Characters, story and conversational quirks & sidequests are MY cup of tea. This... This was a glass of wine from a box. It's supposed to be classy, but it's really commercially cheap, and sour. (Bad use of metaphores)

I can't deny that the Wind Waker style on the gamecube looks a lot better. But then again the DS is the level of N64. And the was clearly visible. It felt like the objects and characters where in TWW style (but OOT level polygons) and the overworld was OOT, but with TWW colors and paint style.

A mix between TWW and OOT.

Hey, if it weren't for Spirit Tracks, we wouldn't have sailing trains. End of story.

I think it's an enjoyable title, but I absolutely despise the stylus controls and general direction of DS Zelda. I really want my 2d with sprites back, with d pad and buttons.

Yes, I want to be able to chose between D-pad and stylus, or do all the moving with the d-pad and some finer stuff with the stylus. It's really uncomfortable, playing only by stylus.

They should make a D-Pad option or something. The weapons, since they're designed with stylus in mind, should stay stylus controlled, but at least do something like TWEWY where you can move with ABXY if you're a lefty like me.

I liked Spirit Tracks a lot more then Phantom Hourglass, PH felt horrible, i hated controlling the fairy instead of link, i didn't like the blowing into the mic crap.

Spirit Tracks managed to make it all better, the controls were much more fluid, microphone was easier for me, overall a much, much better game.

I didn't even play it and I feel ripped off by it. >.>
LOL! Same.

That is, I haven't played it until now (I had to at least try it). I like it a lot better than PH, but I still don't like it. The main reason is that I hate being forced to use a stylus. I agree with Eleo (after playing for a while, I find the stylus uncomfortable as well) and with Mirby that Nintendo should have given a d-pad option (more control configuration plz!!!). I also have a problem with the graphics... bad bad bad. And the camera angle seems wrong and it bothers the heck out of me. Also, I don't like the train and the lack of a properly-explorable overworld. I only played for just over an hour and it felt like I was playing PH again. It just didn't feel very new. I got bored. It really sucked.

IMO, the only "Zelda" games that are worse than PH and ST are the CD-i games. :P Then again, I haven't played that Tingle game thing... I hate Tingle so much. ಥ_ಥ (< even East Asia cries because of Tingle)

Your forgetting about BS zelda.

XD Yea, everyone hates Tingle (except Japan). However, oddly, Tingle's Rupeeland is really fun. (But they shouldn't have wasted it on Tingle.) You should try it. (Althought it'd be impossible to do it legally if you are in America.)

...Could you atleast ask nicely before correcting somene instead harrassing them with it. If it really mattered to me, I'd spell check them myselves. So if it doesn't matter to me why does it matter to you?...

I mixed up country locked and region locked because I was thinking of how Europe was locked in America. So USA was one country and Europe is one continent, so that was minor confusion. Sorry. :-[

Exactly. That's why I said importing. However, SLOT-2 bonuses (such as Libra ability in FFTA2 or EXE sidequests in the Star Force games) are. The regions need to match. So you need ROCKMAN EXE to get the sidequest in a RYUSEI NO ROCKMAN game. See?
