The WW overworld was huge. And empty. TP could be like that and... very boring.

I want more sunken treasure and enemy pirate ships. Wait, I'm still thinking of WW, and I still think an overworld that big is a bad thing.

yeah, but it was awesome when you discovered new islands, like ones you could play golf on, or a load of seagulls circling around or a ghost ship etc :P

Yes, I loved those islands that were just about large enough to fit Link's scrawny ass on, as well as a small hole down to a cave identical to dozens of others, filled with boring, samey enemies, the only reward being money, which is much more easily obtainable elsewhere!

Never played Oblivion? You can ride around for hours on your horse! :D It'll be awesome if the overworld is ginormous!

I doubt you guys will be complaining. Miyamoto said this is the best Zelda of all time, and Shiggy never lies.

Like hell he doesn't. "Mario 128 will be a Gamecube launch game!" "Mario 128 will be at E3!" "Mario 128 will be at the NEXT E3!" "Mario 128 will definitely be on the Gamecube!" "TP will not be on the Revolution!"

Etc.

But he still said that it would turn up at the next E3 twice, which it didn't. And, no, Mario Galaxy is not Mario 128 as Shigsy promised it, since he promised a GC game. Considering that, y'know, some people aren't made of money and won't be able to afford a Wii... I won't be getting Mario Galaxy. ^_^

I can't spare the money for either.

By over two years? I think not.

45 minutes?... I want to believe that. That's just freaking insane. Hyrule Field would have to be absolutely freaking huge to achieve 45 minutes on horseback. I mean, before Shiggy confirmed the TP Overworld would be 3 times the size of OoT... It took about 5-10 minutes to cross OoT's Overworld. 45 Minutes is freaking amazing.

I hope it's true.

Anyone considered the actual gameplay ramifications of this?

That it would be SO GODDAMN BORING to try and cross the entire map?

I'm not sure how long it took to cross the WW map, but I don't think I'm the only one who pointed Link in the right direction, turned off his wavebird, and switched the TV to another channel for a few minutes.

ever thought that going across the map from one side to the other in tp may not be that common and that that would be the only way to do so?
through the story you may slowly move across the map, like in rpgs and then end up being able to cross it quickly some other way.
