Title: PureBasic Zelda Engine
Post by: MaJoRa on November 28, 2008, 12:01:05 am
Well recently I have been working on coding a Zelda game for the fun of it, actually I decided to continue with the Destiny's Horn game I started creating a long time ago.

This engine includes :
Basic Startup Engine
Movement Engine
Prioritised Walking
Collisions Engine
Drawing Layers
Drawing Animations
Heart / Life Engine
Rupee Engine
Basic Menu Engine
The beginning of code for a basic objects engine

Please note this is by no means a 100% completed engine, but perhaps it will show people where to go. When it comes to the Destiny's Horn game (which some of you will remember) I actually stopped working on it after Franz stopped coding it in TGF, and then attempted it in PureBasic, at the time I was not experienced enough with it, so maybe this will help people who were in my situation progress.

There are not very many comments as I did not plan to release this, and without some basic PureBasic knowledge it may seem confusing at first, either way it's attatched to this post, or alternatively here:
