i'm trying my hand at creating my own original sonic character, because it's late, i'm bored, and my cousin did it so i can too. (who cares if my cousin is 13 and i'm 18. to hell with maturity).

anyway, im spriting it in genesis style, actually editing the sonic sprites from sonic 3. it's going surprisingly well but i just can't get the eyes right.

no matter what change i do to the rest of the head, the eyes still look like sonic. how do i make them more feminine?

edit: i studied some other sprites and i think i may know what to do. don't ignore this question just yet though, because i still may need help later.

What you should be doing is taking off your top and getting killed by Greg Kinear.

Put a couple pixels above them for eyelashes. Look at the sprites of Amy see how they do it.

yeah, i did that and it worked. i also made the eyes a little taller and straighter. i may post my sprite on here some time to get some other opinions, because it still doesnt look perfect.
