Ooh, pretty nice, pretty good shading and light source manipulation. I'd possible lower the contrast just a tad though so it doesnt looks quite as pixelated. But yeah, good job ^_^.

It's good, but... it doesn't look like an army helmet. Make it black and shiny and it could be a normal hat thing that gentlemen wore in the 50s or something :P.
