Time to spice things up then

a new 12 FRAMES!!! running animation for the side views (mirror for the left one :P)
This took me one hole day :o
it looks a bit fast, but you can edit the speed in GM

Hope you like it,

.TakaM ordered BrokenArrow to be the new managament-leader of this whole project.
~Fox.

Okay, since the last topic turned into 5% sprites, 5% sprite discussion and 90% idiot, I decided to follow through on what I said.
I've gone through the entire topic, and gathered all the sprites that have potential, but still need a bit of work done.

this topic is for work only, if you want to discuss anything, do so in this topic.

Finished graphics:
Current Tilesets:
outside:

inside:

Current Palette:

Current Sprite Sheet:

Current Mockup:

Needs Refining:
Tiles:

Sprites:

So, remember, this topic is for work only, and as in the last topic, I still will decide which graphics will be made part of the final set

and as always, all credit goes to zfgc as a whole

I actually like the left one better, his pallet fits the game pallet better.
and ill edit the octorock to 4 legs  ;)

omg octorocks  :o

just wondering how many frames do you think it needs?
the up animation already looks good with only 2 frames, but i dunno if you want smoother animations
(zelda1's octorock also had 2 frames  :P)
nice work, but it kinda looks like he has 8 legs
it does have 8 legs, it was more based on the zelda 1 octorocks, the have 8 legs 2, and since the are OCTO-rocks i asumed 8 was the right amount

i can always chage it, if thats what you want?

the head should be a lot bigger and the body somewhat cartony.
besides that its a good start, i like the choise of colors.
be sure to look closely to other MC npc sprites as reference  ;)

Because many people didn't really like the way link's run animation looked, i made a new one.
this one is somewhat simpler though.

any better?

Yeah it's kinda busy, but i'm lovin' the 'glow' on the rocks looks natural.
ThnX, Ill try to make it less busy, but i do want to keep the perspective.
maybe i should fade m some more...

I made it so the big rocks are at the top, and they get smaller going down.
I also added another color for more depth

I think it looks better, but maybe its a bit to busy, i dunno

The verticle stream of lava looks like a waterfall of lava, but remains on the same plane as the ground.
What is it meant to be?

it is a waterfall of lave, the stones ar suposed to be the wall. I guess the perspective is a little off, making ik look like a ground tile. Ill see if i can change some things to make it more wallike :p

Wanted to do something more then aimating so i made some lava level tiles.
I kinda used the goron mines from TP as reference and used the zfgc style pallet.
Tried to keep everything clean and simple

i can't come up with a good floor tile though,
Hope you guys like it
