I am looking for various web messenger clients (msn or yahoo) so that i can create a database of them, store them on my memory stick and use them whilst mobile. My issue is that I do not have many, and in a library for example, alot of them are blocked etc. So, which clients do you guys know of? All of them please, hehe.

Of course, i will share mine:

http://www.e-messenger.net/
http://www.e-buddy.com/
http://www.meebo.us/
http://www.clientless.net/
http://www.iloveim.com/
http://www.imaginarlo.com/

http://mob.e-messenger.net/
http://www.smartdykes.com/modules.php?name=eMessenger
http://www.messengerfx.com/
http://www.goowy.com/
http://www.mabber.com/
http://www8.messengerfx.com/
https://www33.meebo.com/
http://www.myim.co.uk/
http://www.imhaha.net/
http://www.imunitive.com/

All of the above connect to some sort of web based messenger.  The issue is, from where i am trying to connect from, ALL of the above are blocked.

So what! I wanna get out! 'Cos there's so much out there! So many different people, living different lives! Incredibly good guys, bad guys... Folks completely different from us! It's one huge melting pot! See, it's not about success, dying in the streets, who's better, who's not! I just want to be a part of it! I realized that even if I've no connections, no talent, even if I'm one big loser, I want to use my hands and feet to think and move, to shape my own life! We can just die here or we can try, see what we've got!

I beg to differ, an ip block easily stops it, its blocked most places.

I have a list of over 700 proxies that dont work where im trying to acess the internet. If you can find one that works il be amazed. As for gmail andrew, blocked, all google sites are 100% blocked unless its google.co.uk, you cannot go to any links from it that lead to the gmail site either, ive tried.

Where the !@#$% do you live China? :P

I'll recomend using TOR (if you don't already)

another loop hole may be seeing if you can utilize some sort of VPN (Virtual Private Network) to get around some stuff

TOR works wonders.

I managed to get our school to unblock gmail for me, since most teachers use it, and its a great service... what they didn't seem to know is gmails built in gtalk feature, which has been fairly handy..

I also came across the fact the ports for Skype are unblocked. :) Our lab tech was using it the other day for a communications standard.
