I just thought they were kinda over rated, they were pretty games but the gameplay itself was just so dull and the story was your average imagination free rpg dreg. I definitely wouldn't be sad if there were no more sequels, thats for sure.

I rather enjoyed them, and I still have them. I never completed #2 though, I think I'm stuck somewhere... a desert or something. The first one was fun, but I thought it almost impossible to beat the octopus thing (a Kraken?), it's the third boss in the first one, I think.

There was meant to be a 3rd on GameCube, kinda like FSA, being 2D with awesome effects in 3D. But I think it's been cancelled :(.

So, I rated "awesome", in any case.

 My favourite rpg hands down. No other rpg I have played has beaten Golden sun in my eyes.

Definitely outstanding games. Some of the best RPG's and games of all time I've ever played. I believe I beat both when I played them last, and really... Yeah, get them if you haven't.

I love the series.  Not really sure why but it just oozes awesomeness.  It's too bad that Camelot has moved onto PC gaming.  Maybe Nintendo will get the rights for the game and continue the series.

Over-rated?  They're my favorite Gameboy Advance games, I just loved how you played as the good guys in the first game, then the bad guys in the second but figured out why they have to do what they're doing.  I really liked the main story, and all of the little side-stories in.

I just found them far too cliched the twist that you were the enemy in GS2 really surprised me about as much as sheik turning out to be zelda :P

It didn't really suprise me either, but it was interesting.

I don't really mind Clich??s as long as they aren't overdone in the game.  It's really hard to come up with a twist that hasn't been done before, and isn't completely insane to the point of just being cheesy.

Awesome games. Absolutely fantastic.

Anyone who owns a GBA/SP/Micro/DS NEEDS to play these games.

I love that they link up and you can keep EXP, items, levels, names etc.

Fantastic.

Hoping they bring out a third.

Kinda off-topic, but I remember a year ago or something, .TakaM posted fake screens that he made himself (ripped graphics from game, some self-made) and claimed there was a Golden Sun 3 coming for the DS. Almost everyone fell for it, but eventually the joke was unmasked.

I'm definately a RPG gamer, and I loved the Golden Sun series, you could come up with some challanging puzzles using psynergy (although I thought the puzzles were good they could have been better)

If they came out with a sequel I would definately buy it
