It only took me a little over a day, using Twilight Princess art as reference pix. Textures will be more detailed later on. Oh, and this is for my game, Sonata of Storm.

As I expected from ZFGC that everyone gets very excited from a 3D Model... I mean, it's just a 3D model O_o

I'll give you my critique. The head is a bit off, it looks very buggy. As you can see, there are many gray stripes at the face. That means you got a plenty of buggy holes there. Try to fix that to smooth it a bit. Or remake the head, it doesn't looks like link. The same counts for the hair, link has more pointy hair, the hair you got looks more like some kind of thick and non-styled hair. Try to make the hair look realistic and more like link. As you said "TP link". Your link model has a big different color from the actual "TP link", it's not even OoT or WW style. The last thing are the shoulders, they can be some smaller.

Other than that, it's a nice model. Keep practicing and fixing, then rendering it including textures. And it'll/you'll be really good.

Edit: Oh by the way, did you used a tutorial? So yes, which one is it? I want to learn modeling characters too, I only know how they work theoretical, that's why I never post my models :P

The head isn't "Buggy". Those greyish strips are Blender trying to show the outline of the nose and mouth since I ticked "shadeless" (he was showing up all shiny). Second of all, the hair gave me the most trouble, but if I had turned on shading you would see that it is more than a shapeless mess. I should really do that. Third of all, I didn't say I was remaking Twilight Princess, did I? I thought that the color choice in TP was dull and boring, so I chose my own colors. Is there anything wrong with that?

EDIT: Oh, and no. I didn't use a tutorial. :P I just set the reference pix as my background image and shaped my polys around it.

EDIT2: There, I took a pic with shading and such.

Better, right? With lighting you can tell that the face and hair have some geometry.

Nooo! This game is supposed to have a semi-serious air to it! (Hence the less dull colors, but the not cell shaded). WW had a really light air, TP had a really dark air. I want a sort of a blend.

Dear god, the normals are all facing outwards, and there are no stray polys inside his face. What would you suggest?

Anyways, I've rigged him now. I'll post an animation soon.

It's really not bad, just two things seem a bit off to me.(1)On his arms, where hiw elbows would be, it gets REALLY thin and looks kind of odd.I mean his wrist shouldnt be thicker than his forarm.(2)Define his face a little more.Right now I cant really see a chin and his nose is almost impossible to make out, but thats probably the angle. By the way moldorma, wanna make me a Link model? :3 <.< >.>

Here's an edit; added cell shading and tried to let it look more like Link.

I believe I've already said that this game is not going to be cel shaded. Also, by "what do you suggest", I meant what do you suggest to fix the "buggy holes"?
