Looks like it plays nicely. Looks nice, too. But I'm sure you already knew that :P.

I do hope we get to explore other environments besides the green, peaceful lake area. It'd be really interesting you could take the game into bizarre and imaginative worlds. Of course, I've never played LBA and I have no idea what sort of themes it has, but it'd be nice to see some really creative places, especially with your spriting ability.

Keep up the good work.
the demo will only feature part of the first world, which-yeah, will only bee the green, peaceful lake area :P

Just wondering, How long can a recording be?
Good question.
a good question indeed.

The recording can be turned on as soon as you start level 1, and ends as soon as you turn it off, or quit etc.
I wouldn't recommend recording more than one level as a gif though, because it just takes a long time to save the gif :P

And what's LBA?
Little Big Adventure.

Little Big Adventure.

Or in North America, it's Relentless and Twinsen's Oddysee.

Takam, this game looks better and better each time I see. It seems that the combat system has more depth than I thought it did from playing through the demo.
Keep up the good work

so my friend stole a giant bag of ketchup out of the ketchup pumping things and brought it to our table and we took it in the bathroom and i smashed it over the sink and kicked it around the bathroom and smeared it everywhere and we all took turns kicking the ketchup out of it and when we were done it looked like an african village was murdered in the bathroom

That latest one makes it look like this game will be pretty non-linear :)
Cool combo too

almost ready...
I started the tileset overhaul, I've been more productive than I was expecting, so I think I will give the game a facelift before releasing the demo.
The initial plan was to swap the tiles out once we had released the demo.
checkemout
Still gotta touch up the parallax layers, so wait for that

TakaM I <3 U.
How many years have you been spriting, anyway? O_o

Your ass should respond to some of the many 2D graphics artists job ads out there on the professional gaming level. I could see you spriting some 2D RPG on the DS or something. lol

I kinda like the old ones. The new ones look too swampy, like they'd be good for a different type of stage.

working on a new run anim:
it's not going to replace the old one, just think of it as if twinsen picked up some super speed power up and he can't really control his feet...

I saw this game a while back, thought it looked great but never looked into it. I just have to say, from what I've seen it's got a really great and unique art style and awesome-looking gameplay. Keep going.

@new animation: Looks like he's got 4 legs, but it's good anyway. :D
