For those of you who don't know me, I am mainly a programmer. I don't have the mad skills of a spriters. I'm hoping that I will get some more artistic collaboration on this project as the game engine is mostly complete. Until I do, this project will not get very far.

Any comments and help is appreciated. Thanks! Enjoy the video.

Goddamn.  Where'd did you get your graphics from?  No secret here that AoL is my favorite Zelda game.

I'm not blown away by the overworld graphics but the side scrolling stuff looks fantastic!

Oh my goodness!  I am going to cry with joy! :)

What do you mean you need 2D spriters for, though? I feel like you don't need any spriters because it already looks good.  I really hope this isn't a attempt to steal sprites! >:C Though, I doubt you would! :)) I won't question you no more...please, please, make a demo soon. qq

I'm guessing right now he's using a mishmash of different sprites. The art is very inconsistent right now. Pretty sure he wants to team up with someone. Having a consistent art style is incredibly important to make a game.

I think having somebody create new sprites will make this project breathe with life. As flagrama already pointed out, the mishmash of sprites is an eyesore and very inconsistent in terms of an art style.

This looks completely amazing. I liked what Zelda 2 was, but not how it felt. This looks like it would feel good to play.

If MetroidQuest does come back to this game, and if proper graphics are made for this, it would mean proper music would need to be made as well. I'd love to create an "HD" version of the OST. The limited NES music would no longer be fitting.

It does appear that MetroidQuest has since dropped this project though? I don't think anyone replied quickly enough earlier this year. :P
