Something tells me the game isn't going to be nearly as good as that amazing trailer, but they definitely got my interest. It's obvious that the people that came up with this really liked Grindhouse.

House, the Office, and My Name is Earl. All pretty cool shows.

I feel the same way about Brawl, but maybe to a slightly lesser degree. Maybe I'm just at the point where any random elements disqualify games from being truly competitive.

Turok for N64. Hard as nails, but fun. I plan to beat the whole series in order.

There are probably a lot of examples of games that I love and everybody hates, but the first one that comes to mind is Turok Evolution. It's just a generic looking FPS on the surface, but it is deeply flawed with glitches and laziness around every corner. I believe that Turok Evolution is the only bad video game that creates the same kind of enjoyment that you get out a good bad movie.

The funniest thing? Tobias Bruckner, the final boss. I have never laughed so hard. A redneck with a robotoic arm riding atop a tusked T-rex armed with flamethrowers. He chases you around like a lost puppy while yelling offensive remarks. "Get on your feet savage, it's time to dance!" ..."Hahaha, where's your warrior spirit now?"...and the best one..."This isn't the end you know, there's always going to be somebody like me to HUNT YOU DOWN!"

There aren't any super popular games that I don't like, at least a little bit, but I am in the camp that believes Resident Evil 4 is way overrated.

Your singing style is unique, I think you need to step away from existing songs, perhaps even existing genres. You could make something truly amazing, but you need to ignore the barriers created by what currently exists.

...Dunno if that makes any sense.

Crispin Glover?! REALLY?! I wanted him for the Joker, but any involvement in the Nolan Batman series would be awesome. Not only will we get an amazing performance, but he can use his pay to fund more of his interesting little projects.

I am perfectly content with the graphics, because SHOCK, they are an upgrade. Take another look at the GCN game, everything here is clearer and more sparkly. The water is A LOT nicer.

Basically this game seems to combine the best aspects of the DS and GCN versions. I especially like that real holidays have returned. Here's hoping they're a bit more interactive this time.

Oh, and I wouldn't knock the graphics or lack of changes just yet. Let's look at the evolution of AC: WW shall we?

The Microsoft avatars are clearly inspired by the Wii Miis...but these are actually better. As a Nintendo fan, I'm already a bit jealous of all the cool things Microsoft is doing with their creations, not to mention the fact that even the Mii-thing builder seems better. Oh well.

Uhhh, not too pumped about anything announced, but the following possibilities interest me:

Pikmin 3, Animal Crossing Wii, New Zelda.

32
Pit is quite broken with all of his reflecting moves, powerful strikes, and the ability to recover from any situation. HOWEVER, Wolf seemingly has the highest priority of any character and his forward smash has ridiculous range, factor in his reflector and you have the most broken character in the game (if used right).

Snake never bugged me that much, he's nothing to be sniffed at, but far from the same class as the above two.

Closer Knivu, but no cigar. I should write a good Chupacabra script though...the material is ripe for the picking.

Not Hellboy, but it is what I call a public domain monster. Highly guess-able.

Oooh that looks really good. Ho wcome youre doing this? For something in particular, or just for fun?

Well for fun...and experience. I would like to get into some facet of filmmaking for a career, and having something to showcase is a good start.

This is the teaser for a feature movie I filmed and am currently editing. Despite what you might think from watching this, it's actually a comedy and drama more than it is a horror, but it's always fun to mix up genres to keep things secretive.

(the old movies) are also rife with the same problems that plagued this flick.

!@#$% no they weren't. They had great scripts and coherent actors. They also had more realistic special effects.
And there weren't any refrigerators.

True, but Indiana Jones falls out of a plane in a raft which then slides down a snowy and rocky mountain into rapids and manages to survive. He stops a high speed minecart with his feet. Manages to plug a tank cannon with a random stone causing the barrel to explode. He gets dragged behind a jeep balls to the road and somehow manages to get it up later on. Sean Connery takes down a plane using birds. etc...

And in terms of weak script writing: Indiana Jones somehow knows to close his eyes when the ark is opened. He knows the EXACT length of the stick needed to unveil the location of the ark. He makes an etching of the knight's shield then swims through gasoline (eyes open) without worrying about the paper getting wet at all. In Temple of Doom Indy experiences magic first hand then later in Raiders (which takes place after) he suddenly doesn't believe in magic at all. The cult leader rips the heart out of a man before sacrificing him to the pit, but decides not to rip out Willie's heart. etc...

Maybe the ridiculous nature was more blatant in Kingdom, but it's ignorant to say that the other movies made perfect sense.

I thought Spielberg said that he shot it on film.

Then again he also said it would only have CGI when necessary and that

Mutt was not Indiana Jones' son...

Nitpicks aside, anybody disappointed needed lower expectations. Revisit the old movies, they are simply amazing, but also rife with the same problems that plagued this flick.

So a trailer for a decent looking non-American horror movie causes you to completely dismiss everything from the past few decades?

The Shining, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Blair Witch Project, the Thing, Alien, Aliens, the Fly, Halloween, Jaws, the Birds, Evil Dead, Re-Animator, the Exorcist, Cujo, Hellraiser, Dracula, Frankenstine, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Psycho...need I really go on?
