It's true that it's a bit old, but when you're experiencing it for the first time it's still !@#$% cool.  Don't rain on his parade, or whatever.  I love the future...and don't misunderstand me, this is the future...I imagined this !@#$% like five years ago.  We're here now so why ruin the happiness?!  Let the man be happy damnit!!

I know you can play illegally downloaded games on an R4 card (or something along them lines) on your DS, I dont know about Emulators though. Its probable though.

Theres a very good version of Lameboy for the DS (gb/gbc emulator), and there are NES and SNES emulators, but I don't think the SNES one works too well.

Ah, good to know. Just today I was seized by a sudden mad desire to own a DS Lite. Maybe it's just because of the mere existence of Zelda, Pokemon, Mario Party, Yoshi's Island, Metroid, and a brand new web browser, but all I know is I want one. Almost as much as I used to want a PSP. Now if there's one thing I love about a system, it's having tons of games at your disposal. Hence, my PC and Wii.

Nebetsu, which browser are you using?  Retawq, Links, Bunjalloo, DSHobro, Okiwi, or the official Nintendo Opera browser?  Personally I find Retawq to be one of the fastest browsers available on the DS, though because it's text-only obviously it's not the greatest for certain pages.

Also, http://www.zfgc.com/forum/index.php?www;wap2=;wap2 is awesome for viewing ZFGC on portable devices.  Strips out all the unnecessary crap like users' post counts and user ranks and leaves just the poster and the post.

I'm using the official Opera one. People give it a hard time because it's "slow", but thats because it's supposed to be treated like a cell phone. Stick to mobile sites and you should be fine. Anywho: I like that link... except that it strips the post of its links.

Ah, gotcha.  You have to admit that the Opera browser is indeed slow for today's image-heavy pages, though I do agree in that using mobile sites if available is best.  To aid speed, I mostly browse in SSR mode with images disabled unless I need them.

It's not the browser. It's the DS's low processing power and the 8 megs of ram. You try running a browser with 8 megs of ram. It is slow for today's image-heavy pages, but you wouldn't take your cell-phone to today's image-heavy pages and then freak out because it's "too slow". You'd use "mobile" pages. Same is true with the DS browser. People have nothing to complain about. You want something that can see those image-heavy pages just fine? Buy a freaking laptop.
